Are you suffering from depression, anxiety, low mood, panic, excessive worrying, feeling lost, lacking direction and motivation?
Confronting your mental health, accepting you need support and reaching out for help is a courageous step. Even though you may not be aware of the subconscious on a day-to-day basis, it has the power to control your habits, behaviour and mood.
I understand that it can be daunting and we will work together at a pace that suits you. I will spend as much time as you need explaining how I work and the methods I use. We can discuss any concerns you may have about hypnosis, including dispelling any myths.
The initial consultation is an important part of your treatment and the more open and honest you can be the better. I do not charge for the initial consultation, as I believe it is important that you are entirely comfortable with the therapy being offered and have every opportunity to ask questions or raise any queries, before beginning treatment.
Your initial consultation will be about us getting to know each other and I will ask you questions about your background and the emotions you’re experiencing, how they make you feel and how they are affecting your life and well-being. We will complete an assessment together which will allow an individually tailored treatment programme to be planned just for you.
Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. People are neither unconscious nor fast asleep. When the client is in a trance state, I am able to work with the subconscious; the database where we store every event of our lives, experiences and behaviours. Through positive suggestion, ideas and incorporating NLP techniques I am able to effectively support you in change.
Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP is a set of therapeutic techniques which we can use to change. Nero relates to the way in which our brain interprets the world. These experiences are interpreted through our 5 senses, which activates our brain (our neurological system) and affects our physiology, emotions and behaviour.
Linguistic refers to the idea by which we use language, verbal and non-verbal how this influences our experience. Programming looks at how we do things: learn, make decisions and achieve results. In the same way that a computer uses different software packages to perform different tasks, so does the brain. Change is possible - all you need is a desire to change and a willingness to learn new ways of being at peace with yourself, your thoughts and with others.
